The drunk scene of Amitabh was shot in sync sound, you can also hear the camera whirling in the background. Raj Sippy knew about how comfortable Amjad and Amitabh were with each other. So he simply turned on the camera and let them improvise and ad lib the entire scene.

At the premiere Mithun Chakraborthy arrived 10 minutes before the film ended and received a standing ovation from the audience when they spotted him after the film. Vicky Sahu (Inderjeet) and Shakti Kapoor were not present .
