TV Mini-Series | | Drama, Romance
In the arid 1920s Australian Outback, a Catholic priest and the beautiful granddaughter of a vast sheep station owner stand powerless before God's will, tormented by desire. How far are they willing to go in the name of love?
Producers found the conditions of shooting in Australia to be impossible. Most of the sheep ranches were to far out in the middle of nowhere for film crews to get to, and the requirements placed on American film crews to shoot in Australia were unrealistic. So the entire ranch, Drohgeda was built in California.
Well we're just glad you did show up, Your Grace, It's good to know there's someone in the world who cares about the poor girl.
Ralph de Bricassart: Thank you. I want to go back into her.
Anne Mueller: Cares about her, Luddie? If you ask me, he's in love with her.
Through out the miniseries you see cars driving on the right-hand side of the road. This story takes place in Australia where they have always driven on the left side of the road. Additionally, the cars in the film are left-hand drive instead of RHD.
