Eighties teen romp involving Bill and his new apartment, Jim and his rebellious antics, Tom and his crazy self, and Anita with her older man David.
Eric Stoltz was going to star in Back to the Future film as Marty McFly and had actually filmed weeks of footage, but he was replaced by the great Michael J. Fox. Had Stoltz stayed on, he would have once again co-starred with Lea Thompson, who had a major role in BTTF. Only this time she would have been his 'mom' and not his girlfriend. They would share the screen again in 1987's "Some Kind of Wonderful".
Several seconds before Reggie gives Bill a maple bar, the tray containing the maple bars is about six inches to the right of the divider in the middle of the shelves. From that moment, Reggie is at the cash register and Anita is talking to Bill, so there is nobody else near the tray. But when Reggie comes back into the scene to grab the maple bar, it is flush with the divider even though there was nobody else behind the counter who could have moved it.
