| Absolute Classic
As a child, I used to watch this movie religiously. I loved the chemistry between Doc Brown and Marty McFly, I loved the all too familiar soundtrack and the ridiculous way in which George McFly laughs. This movie has become such a nostalgic and feel-good film for me. I had the good fortunate to see all three 'Back to the Future' movies in cinema last year and it was such an experience to watch this timeless classic with people who enjoy this film as much as I do. Everyone has to see this film at least once in their life! Such an amazing, funny Sci-Fi from the 1980's. I just can't get enough of this movie - it will just never get old. Cannot recommend it enough!

Trivia

The number of people shown in the movie poster/DVD cover matches which film of the trilogy it is: This one shows Marty alone, Part II shows Marty & Doc (two people), and Part III shows three people; Marty, Doc, and Clara.

Quotes

1985 Radio Announcer: October is inventory time, so right now, Statler Toyota is making the best deals of the year on all 1985-model Toyotas. You won't find a better car at a better price with better service anywhere in Hill Valley. That's Statler Toyota in downtown Hill...

Goofs

If Marty had headed towards the clock tower when Doc's alarm went off, he would have made contact with the cable too early and would have been stuck in 1955. Doc set the alarm too early, and if the Delorean had not stalled, Marty would have hit the cable too early and missed the lightning strike.

Crazy Credits

The character Marty McFly is credited as a performer on the song "Johnny B. Goode". It is actually sung by Mark Campbell with a guitar solo by Tim May.

Alternate Versions

The network TV edit of the movie redubbed the scene where Biff swears at Marty; the line "You caused three hundred bucks damage to my car, you son-of-a-bitch, and I'm gonna take it out of your ass" was changed to, "You caused three hundred bucks damage to my car, you son-of-a-butthead, and I'm gonna take it out of your hide." Later cable broadcasts simply muted the word "bitch."
