October is inventory time, so right now, Statler Toyota is making the best deals of the year on all 1985-model Toyotas. You won't find a better car at a better price with better service anywhere in Hill Valley. That's Statler Toyota in downtown Hill...
If Marty had headed towards the clock tower when Doc's alarm went off, he would have made contact with the cable too early and would have been stuck in 1955. Doc set the alarm too early, and if the Delorean had not stalled, Marty would have hit the cable too early and missed the lightning strike.
The character Marty McFly is credited as a performer on the song "Johnny B. Goode". It is actually sung by Mark Campbell with a guitar solo by Tim May.
The network TV edit of the movie redubbed the scene where Biff swears at Marty; the line "You caused three hundred bucks damage to my car, you son-of-a-bitch, and I'm gonna take it out of your ass" was changed to, "You caused three hundred bucks damage to my car, you son-of-a-butthead, and I'm gonna take it out of your hide." Later cable broadcasts simply muted the word "bitch."
