when you watch a movie like this, you can judge it two ways. One way is to think about what you expected from it and how well it gave the audience what the expected. the other is to judge it's cinematic technique. The first way, its easy to say yes, it gave us exactly what we expected, and therefor rate it ten. However, I had the chance to watch this - strictly from an analytical point of view - and here's what I find. First, the subject matter defines, and delivers itself. It is all fine and dandy. My real criticism is the editing. It's painfully obvious that footage is looped over and over, simply for duration. everyone knows no man has the endurance of the guys in this movie, or any of this genre, for that matter.
while the movie may be entertaining, the realism is definitely low. But you gotta ask yourself- what do you expect from this stuff?
