Ellen Ripley is rescued by a deep salvage team after being in hypersleep for 57 years. The moon that the Nostromo visited has been colonized, but contact is lost. This time, colonial marines have impressive firepower, but will that be enough?
The pulse rifles that the Marines use are made from a Thompson M1A1 machine gun with a Remington 870 shotgun (shortened to just 15 inches and covered by the also-cut-down shroud and fore-grip from a Franchi SPAS 12 shotgun) underneath.
Salvage Team Leader:
Bio-readouts are all in the green, looks like she's alive. Well, there goes our salvage, guys.
At the end of the movie when Ripley and the Alien Queen are in the airlock, the Queen grabs hold of Ripley's foot as she tries to escape. Ripley then opens the airlock to flush the Queen out. The explosive decompression of the ship would have instantly flushed them both out, but Ripley not only manages to hang onto the ladder when even the immensely strong and agile Queen cannot, but then proceeds to climb up the ladder against the force of the decompression and close the airlock hatch. This could not possibly happen.
As the final credits fade, there is the sound of a facehugger scurrying across from left to right.
