When the Marines and Ripley first encounter Newt, Drake fires wildly at Newt's scurrying silhouette as Hicks uses his own pulse rifle to deflect Drake's line of fire up and into the corridor wall. But there is no visible damage to the wall after Drakes ceases firing.
The ALIENS title forms slowly during the opening credits. The full title isn't seen until the opening credits are finished, and the "I" illuminates brightly.
The scene in which Ripley, Burke, Gorman and Bishop approach in the APC and then enter the colony to meet Hicks' team has been restored. Ripley pauses before entering and Hicks stays behind to ask if she's okay. She says "yes" and enters the complex.
