A team of commandos on a mission in a Central American jungle find themselves hunted by an extraterrestrial warrior.
In the final season of the BBC science fiction series Doctor Who (1963) (TV Series) The series title protagonist The Doctor (Sylvester McCoy) and his companion Ace (Sophie Aldred) find themselves on a hostile wilderness planet inhabited by a race of extra terrestrial hunters called The Cheeta People. Sylvester McCoy's first appeared as The 7th version of The Doctor the same year Predator (1987) was released. The Predator happens to be an extra terrestrial hunter.
Major General Phillips:

When the Predator picks up the scorpion, the infrared imaging shows the Predator's hand mostly in red, suggesting it has a body temperature similar to humans. Later on when it examines Dutch closely, the Predator's thumb appears black in infrared, suggesting a large scale loss of body heat. Nothing in the movie suggests the Predator has the ability to alter its body heat so drastically, and there is no logical reason for it to do so.
All the 7 main cast members re-appear in ascending order as their names are displayed to give a smile to the audience in appreciation.
The Special edition also features three short outtakes: Anna picking up and holding a chameleon; a butterfly landing on the invisible predator's leg leaving an image of itself on it after flying away; and more footage of Dutch preparing himself before the battle with the predator
