  • As a cast member of this movie it has special meaning to me. Working with Tracy was an experience beyond belief, seeing her and other cast members perform brought out the best in the rest of the cast. My only regret is not getting a copy of the movie, if anyone has a copy or knows how I can get a copy I would be most appreciative. The movie was filmed in Charleston, South Carolina in the spring of the year. Typical days started early and went quite late. The prison scene was shot in the old exchange building, one of the landmarks in Charlestion. We spent the entire day in the lower level, shooting the scenes where Tracy brought bread to the starving Union soldiers.
  • This film has since I first saw it many years ago touched me deeply due to the fact that it is still this many years from when it is supposedly taking place such a huge problem with racism.

I feel that the film as well as being entertaining from the more easy to enjoy level have a deep meaningful message that is important for all people out there to actually think about.

Choose your friends fro how they treat you and not for what you want them to be. If someone is kind to you - be kind back. Do not judge cause that just make situation that ask for trouble.

Well, I might read to much into this film but I do love it and feel that there is a deep meaning there. However this is probably different from many others people and how they would feel watching this film.

Well these are my words about this film that for me is way more that just "one in a million".

Live life to the fullest - that is your duty to yourself.

    Love
