When Ellis meets with Gruber, Karl can be seen pouring Ellis a glass of Coca-Cola. This is most likely because Ellis, who had been snorting cocaine throughout the film, asked them if they had any coke which they mistook as him mentioning soda.

When John is on top of the elevator, the elevator moves to the top floor with him on top of it . The elevator cables are dangling as John touches them while climbing out of the shaft. These cables should have been under serious pressure, carrying the weight of the elevator and therefore should not be moving.
In the widescreen version, the 20th Century Fox logo is stretched.
The foreign languages used by the terrorists (mostly German) have been fixed for the remastered Special Edition VHS version. The grammar is now correct in almost all places. The only sequences in which the grammar and pronunciation are still poor are Hans Gruber's dialogs.
