You may know her as Death's Siren, but that is just one of many forms of the chameleon-like Gallevarbe, the multifaceted spy of Queen Gethsemoni in Sideshow Collectibles' Court of the Dead. Ahead of its release early next year, the Gallevarbe Premium Format Figure is displayed in new photos that give a detailed look at the snake-like form of the "Eyes of the Queen."
Gallevarbe: Eyes of the Queen Premium Format Figure: "Sideshow is proud to present the Gallevarbe: Eyes of the Queen Premium Format Figure, the latest addition to our original Court of the Dead collection.
Your eyes do not deceive you if this savage beauty looks familiar… As a Flesh faction stalwart and a personal favorite of Queen Gethsemoni, Gallevarbe’s malleable form proves to be highly advantageous for this ruthless spy-assassin.
"What’s really important about this version is that we are showing her in a 'naga' or snake-like form.

Doesn’t it feel kind of weird knowing that Flashpoint is already behind us and Barry Allen already has bigger fish to fry? Well, such is the case when you’re faced with one seemingly insurmountable challenge after another – but it does make The Flash one very entertaining television series, does it not?
Although Barry and Iris will have the daunting task of dealing with Clive Yorkin’s terrifying ability to rapidly decay whatever he touches, that doesn’t mean they can take the focus off averting her foretold death at the hands of Savitar. In the newly released clip from tonight’s episode, they discuss just that in front of the marker board that now serves as season 3B’s checklist of what to do and what not to do.

Clive Yorkin, a meta-human who has the ability to kill people by making them decompose at an accelerated rate, is coming to Central City next Tuesday and he has Joe West in his sights. However, it's another West who finds herself knocking on Death's Door - Iris! The CW has released fourteen promotional stills from the episode, revealing Iris' dire situation as well as a very gloomy looking Barry. We also get a few cool shots of a race between The Flash and his new mentee Kid Flash. Check them out below: "Untouchable" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. Et) (TV-pg, Lv) (HDTV) The Touch Of Death - Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team at S.T.A.R. Labs work together to bring down Clive Yorkin (guest star Matthew Kevin Anderson), a criminal meta-human who is methodically killing people by causing them to decompose at an accelerated rate. Joe...

Now that Cisco has pretty much gone full Vibe, the spotlight shifts back to Barry Allen in next week’s episode of The Flash. Titled “Untouchable,” which we swear isn’t the name of an upcoming hip-hop album recorded by the Scarlet Speedster, this chapter will see the S.T.A.R. Labs crew being forced to deal with a man capable of rapidly decomposing people with but a simple touch. Needless to say, this has to be one of their most nightmarish nemeses yet.
Viewers will also want to pay attention to the ongoing situation involving Iris West. It became apparent in last night’s episode, “Dead or Alive,” that she believes herself to be un-killable in the present just because she’s foretold to be murdered by Savitar four months from now.

The CW’s DC TV offerings return next week, but the network has today released the official descriptions for the episodes of Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl which will air the week beginning February 6th. There aren’t too many major reveals here, but each of them sounds pretty fun in their own way.
First up is Supergirl. In an episode titled “The Martian Chronicles,” it sounds like we should expect the Girl of Steel to find herself caught in a crossfire between Martian Manhunter and the White Martians, the villainous alien race who wiped his people (and family) out on Mars.
White Martians Attack The Deo — Armek (guest star Terrell Tilford), a White Martian, descends on National City intent on taking M’gann (guest star Sharon Leal) back to Mars to face her punishment as a traitor. Hank (David Harewood) and Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) determine the...

Another sign that The Simpsons transcends television: Video game developer GumpyFunction has created real-life versions of three fictional video games written into the long-running animated series. As A.V. Club reports (via Reddit), hardcore Simpsons fans can now laugh their way through approximations of Kevin Costner's Waterworld (inspired by the gag from Season Eight's "The Springfield Files"), the Battletoads-styled Escape From Grandma's House (from Season Two classic "Bart Gets an F") and the 8-bit punch-up Larry the Looter (from Season Three's "Radio Bart").

Euro Trash movies yield much fun for the ardent fan. Anyone else will be flabbergasted at their low budget production values, salubrious themes and content, dreadful acting, atrocious dubbing and the general air of sleaziness in these films plus their frequent daftness. For the Euro Trash fan, these are endearing things to be cherished in the genre.
However, some Euro Trash movies are so dire, so ridiculously lame that even the most hardcore genre fan’s devotion to cinematic crapulence is sorely tested. Some of these movies are so dreadful, they cannot inspire love in even the most loyal Euro Trash fans. Alternately, they can be so inept as to inspire gales of laughter from game viewers as opposed to groans.
I have listed eight truly diabolical Euro Trash movies below. Please add your own below.

Regardless of where your anticipation for new “The Simpsons” episodes stands, one aspect of the show most agree is still strong is in its irreverent gallery of made-up brands, store names, and products. Names like Java The Hut and Bloodbath And Beyond hold a special place in the show's 24-year history, and College Humor have now paid proper tribute by focusing on just the range of video games on display. Even from the early episodes, Matt Groening and his team of writers nailed the tone straight away with Bart playing games like “Super Slugfest,” “Touch of Death,” and him earning the level of Ungrateful Grandchild in “Escape from Grandma's House.” The show slowly turned its satirical sights on film as well: Witness Martin choosing between "trenchant insight" and "bon mot" in the arcade version of “My Dinner With Andre,” and Milhouse losing 40 quarters to Kevin Costner's “Waterworld” game. Tonight's NCIS: Los Angeles was different than normal, thanks to Danny and Chin Ho visiting from Hawaii Five-0 in the conclusion of a two-part crossover. (If you haven't checked it out yet, read Jim G's "Pa Make Loa" review)
"Touch of Death" worked well, but the crossover was a bit of a mess. Even though they were tracking the same small pox, the cases were very different. Back in Hawaii, it was all about Comescu, but then it took an odd shift from Jarrod Prodeman selling to Dr. Holden in Los Angeles.
The connection between the experiments that Jarrod was doing, Comescu and then the sale of the small pox to Dr. Holden seemed far-fetched. Then, throw in the gang funding Dr. Holden and it was overly complicated and difficult to follow at times.
Dr. Holden was misguided in her mission, but her argument about the elimination of small pox...

"Pa Make Loa:" Touch of Death.
This episode marked the first part of the NCIS: Los Angeles/Hawaii Five-0 cross-over event that many fans of both shows have been waiting for. This was also the second (and last) episodesthat will be affected by Alex O’Loughlin’s absence.
I will freely admit that I’m like Danny when it comes to biological warfare. Even when I was in the service, the idea that something I can’t see could cause my rapid death gave me the willies and I, too, would have become a hypochondriac.

Hawaii Five-o and NCIS: Los Angeles were both off this week, but a minute-long promo for their upcoming crossover event aired during last night's NCIS episode, and it's sure to please fans of both shows.
Agents Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and Sam (LL Cool J) head to Hawaii when there’s a suspect threatening to release a deadly virus into the population. The threat of a global pandemic only grows from there.
The joint task force then travels from Hawaii to L.A. when the suspect in the case moves to the mainland with the virus in tow. Danny (Scott Caan) and Chin Ho (Daniel Dae Kim) make the trip from H5O.
On April 30, the action begins on Hawaii Five-o, carrying over to NCIS: Los Angeles the next night, May 1. The episodes are titled “Pa Make Loa,” which means touch of death, and ... "Touch of Death."

There's nothing like a good martial arts movie like "True Legend" to make you feel inadequate as both a writer and an athlete. It's bad enough to have to watch these men perform remarkable acts with impossible grace while you're still sore from the mile you ran on the treadmill two days ago (I swear I have a six pack, you guys. It's just nestled safely beneath a sixteen ounce bag of marshmallows). But then how do you explain what makes it great? You might as well try explaining a sunset to a man who's lived in a cave his whole life. I envy the dance critic, who can write from their knowledge of technique, form, history, and context. As a film critic writing about martial arts I'm basically limited to oblique measures like wow factor and awesomeness.
Let it be said, though, that "True Legend," from director and martial...

Since the earliest days of American cinema there has been a shadowy counterpart to the commercial mainstream: exploitation movies — pictures whose appeal lies in their sensational treatment and leering promotion of often lurid and prurient material. Pre-1960, when mainstream Hollywood worked within severe restrictions on content, exploitation movies offered audiences titillating glimpses of the deliciously taboo, usually under the guise of being some sort of instructional cautionary against the very subject matter being exploited i.e. sex in “hygiene” movies like The Road to Ruin (1934), drugs in anti-drug movies like Tell Your Children (1936, re-released in the 1960s/70s as camp classic Reefer Madness), and gambling in the anti-vice Gambling with Souls (1936).
By the 1950s, as the studios entered their long post-war decline, downscale producers launched a new vein of exploitation moviemaking, churning out low-budget thrillers (mostly sci fi and horror) aimed squarely at the burgeoning youth audience. Again, the movies were cheap,...
