The doctors, nurses and patients at the frenetic Accident and Emergency department in the fictional Holby City Hospital, located in the fictional county of Wyvern in the southwest of England.

A long-running UK medical drama series depicting the working, and also the private, lives of the hospital staff, paramedics and patients attending the small but frantically busy Accident and Emergency department of the large Holby City Hospital.
