An account of Baron Munchausen's supposed travels and fantastical experiences with his band of misfits.
Baron Munchausen's dog is named Argos, which was the name of Odysseus' dog in "The Odyssey" by Homer. Baron Munchausen orders Argos to "stay" when he leaves for his adventure, and Argos is there to greet the Baron when he returns to the besieged city, as... ...
And that was only one of the many occasions on which I met my death, an experience which I don't hesitate strongly to recommend.
The Baron begins playing cards with four cards in his hand. He is dealt a fifth, but the close-up of his hand still shows four.
This is a new motion picture. This motion picture is not to be confused with the UFA/Transit/Murnau 1942/43 motion picture bearing the title 'The Adventures of Baron Munchausen'.
