The mall scene was filmed at the Metrocenter Mall in Phoenix, Arizona, between Peoria and Dunlap Avenues at Interstate 17. It has since been renovated, and no longer looks as it did in the film. Some of the extras were students from Cortez High School on their lunch break. Cortez High School is Alice Cooper's alma mater.

Goofs
In the saloon fight when Billy the Kid is caught cheating at cards, a prostitute swings in on a rope and takes a guy through a window with her. The rope she swings on disappears and re-appears a few times between shots.
Alternate Versions
In the Television version, there are a few minor dialogue edits. For example, in the scene where Ted falls down a flight of stairs in a suit of armor and a "medieval dude" run the suit through, Bill says to the man who did that "You killed Ted you medieval Dickweed", the Dialogue is changed to "You killed Ted you medieval 'Bonehead'"
