A group of friends living in Beverly Hills, California make their way through life from their school days into adulthood.
Douglas Emerson asked to be released from his role as Scott Scanlon because he'd lost interest in acting. Since then, he has retired from acting, spent several years in the U.S. Air Force, and started a family.
David are you okay?

Kelly Taylor: You can be honest with us. We'll still be your friends.
In the pilot, Brenda tells her date she's a Junior at West Beverly, which means they would've graduated at the end of the second season. They didn't graduated at the end of the third season.
