The story of Henry Hill and his life in the mob, covering his relationship with his wife Karen Hill and his mob partners Jimmy Conway and Tommy DeVito in the Italian-American crime syndicate.
John Malkovich was considered for Jimmy Conway, but turned it down. Three years later, he took the role of Mitch Leary in In the Line of Fire (1993), which, coincidentally, Robert De Niro turned down, along with Jack Nicholson.
The fuck is that?
In the footnotes, it is noted that "In 1989, Henry and Karen Hill separated after 25 years of marriage," meaning that they were married in 1964. However, in a scene from before their marriage, we see a 1966 Corvette parked across from Karen's mother's house.
