George Jetson is forced to uproot his family when Mr. Spacely promotes him to take charge of a new factory on a distant planet.
One of the sounds that's made when George is stuck in traffic on his way to work, is a direct sound made by R2-D2 in the Star Wars movies.
Hey, you've done everything.
Rudy 2: Everything but press the button that gets it all going. That's your job, George, and Mr. Spaceley says you're the best.
George Jetson: Well I wouldn't say that... but - well yes, maybe I would.
While the Jetsons are in flight to their new home, Jane is on George's right hand side. Jane then switches places with George to his left side when he kisses him. The next scene she's back to being on his right side.
While the beginning of the end credits play, stills from the movie are shown and afterwards, the words: "Dedicated to the memory of George O'Hanlon and Mel Blanc" (who both died in 1989, a year before the film's release) appear on a black starry background.
