Corey Feldman was severely addicted to heroin at this point in his career. During the beginning of filming, a crew member discreetly told him he had brown gunk running out of his nose. Feldman threw a tantrum and concocted an elaborate story about car troubles and claimed it was oil and grease from working on the engine. Production was shut down for the remainder of the day.
