A Wonderful series about a great artist -sculptor, painter, musician, soldier - in sum a men of Renaissance.

Very accurate in costumes and historical events - sack of Rome by the imperial army and the construction of the artistic masterpiece Perseus.

Probably the best reconstruction of Renaissance ever made!

A splendid reflection of Renaissance spirit, subtle recreation of a life - chain of temptations, dreams an expectations, story of signs of glory and souls of freedom.

In fact, adaptation of a book, the film is more than that.

the basic virtue - the feel to be front of a large open window to the Italian Ranaissance. and this does the film spectacular. costumes, atmosphere, the artistic madness, the desires and wars and Church and need to be free against all the obstacles near you. but a film about Caravaggio. himself. in a mirror gallery. or only a guy named Michelangelo. because he could have every name, from da Vinci to Buonarotti. so, a beautiful show. about truth and passion and looking for truth and love.
