    Warning: Spoilers
Haven't heard of this movie? Don't be surprised. I watched it for the first time a couple of years ago. I had never heard of it before, and neither had my parents or anyone else I know. How come?

Well first of all this is a Norwegian movie from 1991. This is long before Max Manus and other "big budget" movies were made in Norway. Most likely For Dagene Er Onde was sent a couple of times on domestic TV (short time after its release 'cause it hasn't been on for years), so most people just haven't heard about it.

Except from an interesting plot and a few famous and known actors (not that there are many good actors in Norway), there's little interesting about the movie. The acting is decent but the film has a slow pace all through. There was one scene in particular that made me laugh, and that was the one where famous award-winning Bjørn Sundquist snaps of rage at the cows in the barn :P oh and the scene where he yells at his mother!

If you find this video on VHS (I doubt there is a DVD-release, I have the VHS myself), and you don't mind reading text since it's in Norwegian, you should watch this movie! If not for the thrill ('cause there ain't any), then at least for the fjord scenery.

I give this movie 5 stars out of 10
