Life Stinks smells nice
This will never be received as one of Mr Brooks' finest efforts but the film should be given some applause, mainly for approaching the problem of homelessness in a tongue in cheek style. The story deals with rags to riches in reverse cliche and it comes off well. Lesley Ann Warren's portrayal of the most beautiful tramp is complimented by Brooks' ability to turn any drab scene into one of humour. The plot centres around a bet that Brooks can't live without his millions.

As film plots go, this one is easy to follow and very enjoyable.
