Chucky returns for revenge against Andy, the young boy who defeated him, and now a teenager living in a military academy.
Don Mancini initially wanted to introduce the concept of "multiple Chuckys" in the movie but due to budget constrains, the idea was eventually scrapped. Mancini later used this concept 26 years later for the Cult of Chucky (2017).
This is Andy Barclay. Eight years ago, he touched off the scandal that nearly crippled this company. Claiming his Good Guy doll, Chucky was possessed by... Charles Lee Ray, the notorious Lakeshore Strangler.
(at around 54 mins) During the breakfast scene, Sgt. Botnick tells Andy he needs a trim on Wednesday, but he had just given him a haircut the previous day.
