A tough police sergeant's overbearing mother comes to visit him and begins to meddle in his life and career.
At the time, Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger were competing against each other. Schwarzenegger faked interest in this movie, hoping Stallone would audition. When Stallone heard that Schwarzenegger was interested in headlining, he immediately dropped everything and contacted the producers, saying that he wanted to headline.
