'Dr.' Shirlee Kenyon:
I'm returning the car. It came with the job.
Gordon: Wherever you go you'll need a car.
'Dr.' Shirlee Kenyon: Nobody needs a 60 thousand dollar car. Besides, I'm not really a Mercedes, I'm just a plain ol' Pontiac... maybe a Chevy.
When Shirlee is on the Zim Zimmerman show, Zim asks her if she thinks her advice could potentially be harmful. When she is responding, the camera operator is seen walking closer to allow the camera to zoom in on her. Yet when the scene cuts to the control room, the cameras on Shirlee are all steady, not zooming in.
From the big-screen to the video screen, Straight Talk was edited down. Several scenes, including a limo-ride, a longer resturaunt scene with Shirley and Jack, and several other minor scenes were reinstated when it aired on ABC network tv.
