Patricia Healy is smokin'

This is a fine story of a couple who give their relationship one last shot, who become entangled in a kidnapping.

Kristen(the sexy Patricia Healy) visits her ex at his Death Valley outpost smack-dab in the middle of nowhere, and quickly becomes the hostage of a sun-baked psycho(chillingly portrayed by Esai Morales). Her ex(Stephen Meadows) must track them down before something awful happens to Kristen.

Travelling the desert in search of a utopia, Esai desires to live out his days alone with the sexy Patricia Healy. Patricia is uncooperative at first, but tries to play the old jedi mind game on Esai, hoping that Meadows will soon come to her rescue.

Female audiences will enjoy Patricia's never give up mentality and her inborn fighting spirit. While male audiences will find her nude posing for our amateur psycho artist appealing.

Very effective thriller, as the scene where Stephen Meadows gets bitten by that rattlesnake, always makes me jump.

low budget that never bored me

I came across this flick, because it had the name Roger Corman on it and it was released on the Concorde label. It's still an unreleased flick as far as I know on DVD or BluRay. Does it had a reason why it isn't released so far, no, because it wasn't that bad after all due the above mediocre performances.

Still it do has some lame scene's like the fighting scene towards the end. Kristin (Patricia Healy) falling over a rock and hitting her head on a stone is really a must see because it's the weakest part of the flick. But hey, I'm a bit complaining about that. If you think you are going to see an action packed flick you will be wrong even as it is a flick about running away and being captured and all of that stuff.

It's a typical low budget of that era. cheap action and of course a bit of nudity (from Patricia). it's worth picking up for the Concorde collectors or the fans of Patricia here in her earlier career before hitting blockbusters as The Bodyguard (1992) and Heat (1995). Clocking in around 80 minutes makes it never really boring at all.

Esai Morales makes a wonderful bad guy. Frankly, I wanted him to come kidnap me! I think this is an enjoyable movie, one where the bad guy is so compelling you almost sympathize with him. The ending could've been less predictable though... oh well, definitely worth a rental anyhow, in my opinion!

Action packed!

This movie was simply wonderful. Esai Morales played a fine bad boy in this one. I loved the plot and the actors. They did a great job. Suspensful!
