Animated MTV series about two teenage heavy-metal music fans who occasionally do idiotic things because they're bored. For them, everything is "cool" or "sucks."
One irate caller thought the show was called Porky's Butthole. His voice inspired the voice of Boomhauer in King of The Hill.
Good head, Butthead!
Butt-head: Uh, thanks. Huh, huh.
When the music video for the Power Station's cover of Get It On (Bang A Gong) was shown, the album it is from was incorrectly listed as "Electric Warrior." This song is actually from the Power Stations' self-titled album. ("Electric Warrior" is not a Power Station album, but rather a 'T. Rex (I)' album - the band who performed the song originally.)
After the credits roll in the series finale, the following message appears: "Thank you to all the talented artists, writers and highly intelligent people who worked so hard to make Beavis and Butt-head look so dumb."
In the episode "Sporting goods", the original version of this episode aired without the "dueling grasshoppers" at the very beginning, instead starting with the boys flicking their lighters as they talked to Daria.
