Two FBI agents, Fox Mulder the believer and Dana Scully the skeptic, investigate the strange and unexplained, while hidden forces work to impede their efforts.
Scully's family has a thing for "Moby Dick": Scully is called Starbuck by her father, her dog's name is Queequeg, and she calls her father Captain Ahab. In 2010, Gillian Anderson, who played Scully, appeared in a version of the novel (Moby Dick (2011)) that also starred Ethan Hawke, Donald Sutherland, and William Hurt.)
It seems to me that the best relationships, the ones that last, are frequently the ones that are rooted in friendship. You know, one day you look at the person and you see something more than you did the night before. Like a switch has been flicked ...
Mulder and Scully are shown in numerous episodes carrying a variety of handguns from Glocks to Smith & Wesson to SIG Sauers. FBI agents are issued one model of weapon for standard duty carry and they carry those models unless they are lost, unless the agent changes assignments or the entire Bureau changes the brand and model it is using.
At the end of the credits, the logo for Ten Thirteen Productions is shown, and a child's voice says "I made this!"
