A feature adaptation of the classic television show, when nice guy redneck Jed Clampett strikes it rich when he finds black oil, and moves him and his kin to posh Beverly Hills.
When Granny invites cousin Pearl and all of the family to Jed's wedding, she says "only the Clampetts, not the Kelloggs or Daggs". Kellogg's Corn Flakes was one of the original sponsors of The Beverly Hillbillies (1962). Daggs may be related to Winston cigarettes, the other original sponsor.

Outtakes play over the end credits.
