PG-13 | | Action, Adventure, Comedy
With the help of a magic ticket, a young movie fan is transported into the fictional world of his favorite action movie character.
In the closing act, Nick begins to tell Danny about the time he saw the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show as a kid. Assuming he saw one of Bill's last shows, it would make him about ninety-years-old.
This is one hell of a way to spend Christmas.
Death is not shown to re-enter his movie, yet the fact that the Grim Reaper is on the loose in reality and killing people is never mentioned again. He could have re-entered his movie off camera. Additionally, Death seems to have no ill will towards the living and is only after people who have reached their death date, so he's of no real threat anyhow.
The only opening credits in this film are the ones for "Jack Slater IV".
The UK channel 5 version of the movie omits 10 minutes worth of footage to remove profane language violence and scenes that are unsuitable for kids.
