One year after their first western adventure, Mitch Robbins and his friends discover a treasure map that belonged to their late trail guide Curly and they set out to discover its secrets.
The picture of Curly's father, Lincoln Washburn, is an image of Jack Palance from the film "Shane". Billy Crystal has said that his original inspiration for Curly was Jack Palance's role as Wilson in "Shane".

At the very beginning of the movie, Mitch gets up at 5:16am, goes jogging with his "cow", then commutes by train from his home in New Rochelle to downtown Manhattan and arrives to work at 6:07am (see clock in background over his head). Can't be done.
