Gensomaden Saiyuki (2000–2001)

This Anime is the best anime I have seen!! It has excellent characters and is fun to watch in English or Japanese. Both voices are great! I love the plot and the art of the show. I suggest it to any anime fan. This is a wonderful show with four main characters that everyone is sure to love at least one of them. You have an ill-behaved priest, and if you think that its the same as all ill-behaved priest then you haven't seen nothing yet! There is a monkey king, a half-demon that hits on women, and a always smiling demon. All of them are on a trip to stop the resurrection of a powerful demon. Assassins are sent after them and they go through various trials and their past comes into play throughout the entire series. Its definitely worth seeing.
