PG-13 | | Action, Mystery, Romance
Many scenes were filmed at an airfield near Marana, Arizona. This field has been used for civilian skydiving, aircraft storage, military training, and CIA functions. Evergreen International Aviation, a sometimes CIA contractor based in McMinnville, Oregon, has had operations at this field. The forklift used in the film is clearly stenciled "EVERGREEN."
Richard "Ditch" Brodie: Ah, it's broken!
Chris Morrow: The safety's on, you idiot!
The 747 in the airplane graveyard would not have any functioning electrical systems, including the pre-flight video that was triggered during the shoot-out. All systems are deactivated and electrical power removed when aircraft are mothballed. The plane wasn't "mothballed", it was landed there to hide it. They intended to fly it within a few days.
The song listing at the end of the credits is missing one track. Sting's "This Cowboy Song" which actually plays through the credits, whoops.
