The original 70s TV family is now placed in the 1990s, where they're even more square and out of place than ever.
The Sears scene was shot inside a now-closed Sears in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Cindy. Oh Cindy. Why does Jan get all the attention? Yeah. It's always Jan, Jan, Jan.
While walking on his treadmill, Mr Ditmeyer's tomato juice glass is being jarred quite a bit, yet does not fall. After getting off the treadmill to get the Brady's mail, the mere movement of the still-running treadmill belt is enough to make the glass slide off, spilling the juice on the belt indicating the glass was anchored to the console initially.
The opening credits parody the TV show.
U.S. television prints of this film feature several scenes that were not released theatrically or on video, all of which revolve around the Brady neighbors, the Dittmeyers. These scenes include a garage band scene, a scene with termites in the bathroom, and another scene with Mrs. Dittmeyer trying to seduce Peter.
