An afterlife therapist and his daughter meet a friendly young ghost when they move into a crumbling mansion in order to rid the premises of wicked spirits.
It's implicit in Dr. James Harvey's possession scene by the three ghost uncles that the three cameos (Clint Eastwood, Rodney Dangerfield, and Mel Gibson) match to each of Casper's uncles when they were alive (Stretch - Eastwood, Fatso - Dangerfield, and Stinkie - Gibson).
Sushi, anyone? California roll, comin' up!
When Carrigan and Dibs flee from Whipstaff during the storm, what appear to be the long sleeves of a red jacket are clearly visible draped over a large concrete flower pot to the right of the front door. Carrigan and Dibs drive away, and right after their SUV exits the frame, we see that the red jacket is gone. We can also see that this was a single shot without a cut, meaning that somebody had to be on the porch, out of sight, and able to remove the jacket in the two seconds it took the SUV to pass in front of the flower pot.
As the film ends, the main characters are dancing along to the theme song.
