Sometimes you just need to take a break from your full-time job and life as an adult in order to find out what one of your favorite Disney Channel Original Movie stars has been up to lately... Erik von Detten, we're looking at you! The blonde-haired, blue-eyed hunk who helped make our childhood by starring in films like Escape to Witch Mountain, The Princess Diaries and Brink! is all grown up now. In fact, in a celebration for Disney's 100 original movies and the premiere of Adventures in Babysitting Thursday night, von Detten re-emerged on the red carpet for the first time in a while, and he looks almost the exact same as he did 20 years ago. The 33-year-old attended the...

Last year, TeenNick brought back Nickelodeon classics from the '90s for a late night block of programming called "The '90s Are All That" and viewers were ecstatic. For the first time in years, fans of All That, Kenan & Kel, Rugrats, The Secret World of Alex Mack, and Salute Your Shorts could watch reruns on television. It was a dream come true for the young adults who remember a time when the Big Orange Couch was a staple in every Nickelodeon commercial and when kids got slimed daily, not just at the Kids' Choice Awards. Fans flooded to social media shortly after TeenNick announced the new schedule in July, which was no surprise. '90s nostalgia is big online. Numerous Facebook pages and groups exist devoted to the decade and Twitter handles, @The90sLife and @90sgirlproblem, have more than 270,000 followers respectively. The beloved decade is represented well online, however,...

It's no stretch to say that "Mad Men" has been a career-defining show for most of its core cast. But that doesn't mean the actors didn't have careers before that.
In honor of "Mad Men" beginning its fourth season on Sunday (July 25), we at Zap2it decided to dedicate our latest Z-wind to three of the stars of the series: Jon Hamm, Christina Hendricks and Elisabeth Moss.
Hamm had been a working actor for the better part of a decade before landing the role of Don Draper. He may have been best-known for his role in "Kissing Jessica Stein" (where he co-starred with his long-time girlfriend, Jennifer Westfeldt), but he also had a string of TV roles, including stints on "Providence" and "The Division" and guest spots on "Gilmore Girls" and "CSI: Miami."
He also did seven episodes of ABC's short-lived series "What About Brian," which brings us to our first clip.

This week's "Race to Witch Mountain," starring Dwayne Johnson and Carla Gugino, is the latest remake-- ahem, modern reimagining from Walt Disney Studios. Though the Mouse House's animated classics remain sacrosanct (if the jumping-off point of direct-to-dvd sequels), the live-action library has been pillaged for endless redos intended for theaters or the Disney Channel, which is where a previous remake of "Escape to Witch Mountain" starring Robert Vaughn and Brad Dourif premiered in 1995. Nothing is safe from the remake button over at Disney, so here are four more properties we fully expect to receive the same treatment in the near future, and proposals on how best to bring the projects into the 21st century. The only reason the immortally cheesy "Tron" didn't make the list is because they're already shooting a sequel.
