In this offshoot of the 1950s "claymation" cartoon series, the crazy Blockheads threaten to ruin Gumby's benefit concert by replacing the entire city of Clokeytown with robots.
In April 2007, a director's cut version of the movie was shown at the Tribeca Family Film Festival. This version of the film in 77 minutes was released on DVD by Genius Products, LLC on April 22, 2008.

During "Take Me Away", when Gumby and Tara are dancing as blockheads follow them through a tunnel filled with Pokeys, you can clearly see a mirror in the background used to create the illusion. A camera can be seen on the right in a few frames as well.
