Sex & Nudity

  • A man and woman kiss each other, it cuts to them in bed the next morning while she is still sleeping. It's implied that they had sex.
  • A prostitute is seen in her bra and underwear as she is putting money in her purse. She talks to a man sitting on a bed where there is a brief back and forth on how "good" he was in bed.
  • No more adult scenes.
  • Hanna and his wife kiss in bed after waking up in the morning. They kiss only.

Violence & Gore

  • A man walks through a hospital and sees several patients with bloody injuries.
  • A guy slams another man's face into a table, he also tries to kill him by beating him a few times, but then he disappears.
  • A man gets rammed into a truck by a car, his arm and leg are bloodied, the man is shot from a far range. Blood sprays from his chest
  • A gunman and Neil attempt to shoot each other, the gunman gets shot in chest with blood spurts, he then gets ran over by a car, blood smears onto the windshield.
  • A man gets shot by a shot gun multiple times inside a truck, blood splatters on the wind shield and we see multiple blood spurts.
  • We see a dead prostitutes bloody face. Implying that she was beaten to death.
  • A criminal gets a bullet pulled out of a wound on his shoulder, this is offscreen.

  • While there is intensity to the violence it's never too graphic and gore is brief
  • A man finds a nearly dead girl who attempted suicide in a bathtub full of blood with lacerations on her femoral artery and arm arteries, the man picks her unconscious body up and wraps a towel to stop the bleeding then takes her to the hospital. She survives. She is then taken to a room where doctors help treat her.
  • A man breaks into someone's dwelling by throwing a big chair breaking a window and shoots a man three times in the chest
  • Not severe even for 1995. I go with the french/italian line again, film for all.
  • The movie opens up with a group of armed thugs robbing a truck. A bomb goes off inside a truck. Three police officers walk out with blood on their faces. An officer gets shot point in blank in the head, chunks of gore spurts out the back of his head. And officer gets shot in the rib with blood spurts. A man gets shot in the chest and once more in the face at point blank range.
  • When detectives visit the crime scene the officers are covered in puddles of blood beneath them, and have some on their faces.
  • Two police officers are punched in the face several times while three men attempt to rob a bank and hold people hostage. A hostage is punched once by one of the thieves. Some blood is seen around his mouth for a few seconds.

Profanity

  • 55 "f" words (1 used sexually, and 11 have the prefix "mother"), 22 "s" words, 10 "ass" words, 5 hells, 2 SOB's, 1 damn, 1 crap and 4 uses of "God damn," and 1 use each of "Jesus," "God," and "Oh my God" as exclamations.

Violence & Gore

  • A massive shootout happens in the middle of the street, police officers and criminals fire machine guns and pistols back and forth, several officers get shot with blood spurts. A police officer is shot to death with multiple blood spurts, his body falls to the ground, we see a large blood streak beneath him. Breedan is shot multiple times, blood splatters on the windshield. Chris gets injured by a gunshot, we see some blood on his clothes. The shootout escalates to a chasing sequence with lots of heavy gunfire, some police officers get shot and fall to the ground. Michael Cheritto gets fatally shot in the head by Vincent, with some blood mist.
  • Trejo's bloodied body is seen in the floor, his face is covered in bloody bruises and is seems that all of his teeth are knocked out, a puddle of blood is beneath his head. When he says he's about to die, he is shot offscreen by Neil for a mercy kill.
  • Van Zant is shot three times in the chest with blood spurts by McCauley. Three big bullet holes form in his chest after each shot.
  • Waingro has a door slammed into his face by Neil, he is battered several times, blood is seen on his nose, Neil then shoots him in the chest two times, blood pours out. Then he shoots him in the head offscreen. We later see small blood splatter on the window behind him.
  • The final scene depicts Vincent shooting Neil at least four times in the chest, blood spurts out each time. Blood pours out of all bullet wounds and stains his shirt. He then dies of blood loss.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Vincent finds his stepdaughter severely wounded in a bathtub filled with bloody water in his hotel room. She has cut herself. This may upset some viewers.
  • The character of Waingro is a homicidal psychopath, killing people for seemingly motiveless reasons. In one scene he threatens a woman he has paid for sex and then threatens her. She is then shown beaten to death and her mother shown hysterically grieving for the death of her daughter. These scenes are uncomfortable and emotionally distressing.
  • The movie takes an intense and dark turn after the big heist midway through the movie. The ending might be emotional for some viewers
  • The ending scene is extremely intense
  • The street shootout is very intense.
