Principal Moss punishes the primary characters for throwing a party in his house without his knowledge by giving them detention on a Saturday. But Principal Moss must be much nicer than he lets on; realistically, they would be arrested and charged with breaking-and-entering, destruction of private property (Miosky eating his goldfish), vandalism, and so on.
