I'm Italian, and I'm big enough to know what happened in Italy after the end of the Cold War. That's because I voted 9 for SEGRETO DI STATO: the plot of this movie (a cop and a judge, investigating a bomb explosion, discover corruption between Secret Service agents, politicians and Mafia) is a realistic report of what REALLY happened, sometimes, between 1991 and 1997 in Italy. Somebody may don't believe something like this could be happened in a democratic country, but IT WAS. SEGRETO DI STATO is NOT a real-story based film, beware, its plot is fictitious, but REALLY, between 1991 and 1995, in Italy were discovered conspiracies between Mafia, financial world, politicians and Secret Service agents.
