  • Beth Roberts is getting married to douche Steve Longwood. Beth's ex Dave Marshak (Dean Cameron) somehow got an invitation. He brings along ladies-man best friend Alex to sabotage the ceremony. Beth's father is past and she's running the ski resort. Lola Schnitzelbank is a recently arrived nude painter skier.

This is a relatively fun juvenile sex romp. Dean Cameron still has some of his roguish swagger despite losing some of his hair. I like the quiet lady killer Alex. A chubby Will Sasso is channeling a bit of John Candy and who can forget Wendy Hamilton's nude painter. This is not that funny but it has a bit of fun.

The movie was not that bad, but it also was not that good either. It had its funny moments, but then again, it also had some parts where the sense-of-humor had me wincing in pain. Only one thing remained consistant throughout the entire film... the size of Dean Camroon's eyebrows!!! WOW!! Did you see how big they were? He should definatly do something about that. I heard a small child was lost in those things for two days!! Anyway, this is only a mediocare movie... so see it at your own risk. If you chose to see it, remember, BEWARE OF THE EYEBROWS!!!
  • Being a big fan of the original Ski School film I was very disappointed in this follow up. Many of the key elements that made the orginal successful are missing in this. These include the wonderfull supporting cast of section 8 that dwelled at the resort, particularly Ed and Fitz, that Dave led. This has therefore resulted in a lack of on-screen chemistry with the new line up and as such the laughs have been very infrequent. In addition Dave is matched with a poor "baddie" and again adds to the downbeat theme of the film.

If you want a really good laugh then watch the original Ski School.
  • This is the kind of movie that could have been terrible. But it's not. For some strange reason, the (weak) plot actually works, and after a while, you'll just laugh your head off. There are LOTS of gags, one wilder than the other. Yes, there are a couple of topless scenes. And they are so unmotivated that it's totally hilarious.

the first ski school was an entertaining funny comedy that just clicked on all the right cylinders this one has none of the cleverness of the first one..Wendy hamilton is a good distraction though. on a scale of one to ten..4
  • I watched this recently...oh man. This movie is a disaster. I remember seeing this movie on USA when I was a kid. I thought it was funny then. Unfortunately it stayed back then.

There is nothing funny about the movie anymore. I liked Dean Cameron, Bil Dwyer and Will Sasso but seeing this now, there is little to enjoy.

This is a cheapie, marred by bad mistakes by the crew. At one point in the movie, you can actually see where the actor's mark is. There is too much ski fodder as well, which actually reinforces the lack of story.

There isn't much to redeem this flick. There are a couple of shots of full frontal nudity and partial nudity but you can see that in any number of R-rated movies. Maybe check this out for curiosity's sake but don't expect anything great at all.

The opening music is crazy. It makes you think you are about to watch some roman fight movie.

Dave is invited to his former girlfriend's wedding and it is his duty to make sure it doesn't happen since her fiancé has plans to take over the resort once they're married.

    Very complicated plot, no? No.

Endless minutes are spent with snowboard scenes and horrible music overlaid on the scenes.

There's nothing you haven't seen before in this film. It's rude crude and dumb.

But it is sort of watchable.
  • The first Ski School is a classic. This is just a weak attempt at a T&A repeat.

This movie is great. The girls are gorgeous, the guys are funny. The guy who played Alex in the movie (Doug Copithorne) works next door to me and is a friend of mine. By the way ladies... he's married now and has a couple kids so don't get any ideas :P I give this movie a 10 simply because of the utterly gorgeous girl who plays Beth. Beth if you read this I love you and I want to have your babies... Oh, and Doug says Hi.

All in all this was a great movie for what it was, and I think it did Canada proud. They managed humor and a playboy bunny all in one fantastic movie. Great Job Ski School!!
  • Okay I admit it, my reason behind watching this film was because it has some pretty girls in it and yes, they do get naked. However, as soon as it started I realised that, in actuality, it wasn't all that bad and that there was more to it than copious (And I mean copious) breast shots.

For a start its really quite funny with Dean Cameron especially showing that Canadians aren't all boring windbags. The locations are quite beautiful and although the plot itself is the same old bad-guy-wants-power-good-guys-want-to-stop-him schtick in this case it works and for some reason everything comes together really well.

Another high point are the songs, many of which would not look out of place in the top 40. This despite the fact that I haven't heard of any of the bands involved. In a way that kind of sums it all up. You won't have heard of it or anyone in it but it's still good and well worth a watch.
  • Dave Marshak has lost out in employment and love to Steve Longwood. When Beth's father dies and she inherits his ski resort, Steve wants to marry her. Dave ends up attending events related to the wedding, and does what he can, along with his goofy friends Alex and Toddorbert, to try to stop the wedding from taking place. Along the way to the big event, we see plenty of girls wearing next to nothing (even though it is cold enough for snow skiing), including one who describes herself as 'a nude painter'. The subject being captured on canvas is all bundled up for the cold weather, while the artist appears to be wearing nothing. Several pranks involve O'Doogles, a bar which has changed quite a bit since the guys used to hang out there.

I doubt that anyone would consider this to be a quality production, but Dean Cameron delivered a sarcastic performance as Dave, which really made the movie worth seeing. No one else was really what I would call a good actor, but Beth was adorable and most of the characters were funny.

I saw an edited version, but it was still not good clean fun. It was fun, however.
  • I watched this film 5 times in one day during the first year of owning a copy on DVD. The love for this film has not stuttered in the slightest. This film's pure brilliance is astounding. It is hard to believe the majority of these actors are relative unknowns. Brent Sheppard and Dean Cameron excel as the two leads competing for the attention of the blonde honey Beth, who happens to own the ski resort they are based at. Bill Dwyer and Will Sasso fill the screen during their supporting acts as second fiddle characters, but ensure that they will forever be remembered with quality timing and happily making the film fun to watch and enjoy.

This film could be described as 'too much fun'. Simply because, at no point what so ever does the film attempt to be great, it just happens by accident. The scenes are oozing with wonderful white scenery, the women that pass by are consistently scrumptious, the supporting cameo actors are so convincing that its a surprise when Oscars aren't brought into the scene for them, and best of all the skiing scenes are picture perfect, filled with excitement and gloriously filmed manoeuvres that only seasoned pros could make look so good. Another bonus to the films natural charm are the goofs, and plenty of them to boot. I would hazard a guess at a single goof is made, via stars and scenery, every 20 seconds, approximately. Yet, astonishingly, it only adds depth to the addictiveness of the entire film.

This film is what On Her Majesty's Secret Service would have been like had it been filmed as a comedy, set in Canada, and given a third of the budget. Though I must admit the villain, Brent Sheppard as Steve Longwood, is a far more ruthless and demented rival to our hero than any antagonist has ever been before, or since.

This film is pure and simple entertainment that, at only and hour and a half, is far shorter than you'd like, but the compactness of its genius means that you can watch it several times a day, happily. Fabulous!
  • I have seen this movie probably over 20 times and each time I enjoy it as much as the last. This is a must see for anyone who enjoys the slopes or even more so for those like me who grew up on the mountain in a small ski town. Every time I watch this movie not only do I laugh throughout the movie but I consider quiting my job and moving home to become a ski bum, one winter working ski school after college was not enough.

I hope all of you that have come across this movie will give it a chance despite the lack of modern production value and will see it for what it really is, the blue print for a true utopian society. Just be prepaired, after you watch this movie you better hope that winter is just around the corner because you will have the itch.
  • Praise should still go out to the supporting acting of Wendy Hamilton, Bill Dwyer, and Will Sasso for their hilarious little performances within this movie. "Ski School 2" is funny for anyone. The other performances and the lead Dean Cameron are funny as well. I wish that Will Sasso had won Wendy Hamilton's affection by the end of the film but the writing never gives their character's the chance we wish they deserved. In the tradition of "Caddyshack" and "Bachelor Party" this film is hilarious regarding the war between the snobs and the slobs.
  • This movie was extremely hilarious. I think it was a lot funnier than the first one. In this one Dave Marshack has lost his job, girlfriend, and was kicked off the mountain. He know he has to try and get them back before his ex-girlfriend, Beth marries "Heinrich Von Schmuck".

The funniest part of the movie is the four main guys. Dave(who is played hilariously by Cameron), Alex(the sex machine), Tomcat(Mad TV's Will Sasso), and Todderbert(the funniest character in the movie. Listen to how he got his name).

By the way, there's also a lot of naked girls in it too, another good reason to see it. Pretty funny for a straight-to-video comedy. 10/10(Believe it or not)

HAIL DEAN CAMERON! Ski School 2 is an all -time classic.. a 2.9 rating on IMDb... that's a travesty... I'd give it a 13. This is Dean Cameron in his most classic role... A Ski Instructor and playboy who can drink with the best of them and steal your girlfriend while you're in the bathroom. It has the typical bad guy/jock type characters and the freewheelin' and freeloading Dave Marshack and friends. Dean is known as "that one guy" who has appeared in several Films and TV shows... I have no idea how he isn't much more famous than he is.. I wrote him a long time ago in high school asking to do his fan club page and he was so humble that he didn't think he warranted a fan club page. Dean you're in the heart of every 80's kid out there!
  • Ski School 2 is quite possibly the mecca of anyone's movie watching experience. If it were not for this film I would not be living. Dean Cameron is the closet an actor has come to rival Brando(Marlon) for the title of worlds greatest actor. Bravo fine sir for your acting brings a tear to my eye with each viewing. Lush scenery only excels this for the recognition of the worlds most striking achievement put to celluloid. I stand on the top of a mountain a shout to the world that i love ski school 2 and i want everyone to know. Will Saso is also a standout, bringing everything to the table and proving to everyone( not just the philistine minded fox television mindset) he is here to stay. Say it loud and say it proud, this film cannot be put into words. Ski School 2 is my one true love and because of that it will never die in our hearts.
  • This is my favourite film, so imagine how disturbed I was when I picked this up on DVD and discovered the awesome soundtrack had been changed!

I have no idea why they decided to change the music for the DVD release, but the film was much cooler with the original soundtrack.

In fact, some of the scenes don't even work without the original music - the characters movements are totally out of time - check out the Church scene at the end - why are they dancing to bells? Originally it was a cool rock song.

The scene at the dodgy S&M club has also been changed. The music doesn't stop when Beth and Steve enter the room. I can't describe what an awful experience it is watching this film without the original music.

The film, with the original soundtrack, is absolutely awesome. I could model my life on the teachings of Dave Marshack - in fact, his name was on my fake id up until i could drink legally.
  • This movie could have been alot better if they took there time seemed like it was kind of just thrown together. Its kind of sad too cause it had the making to be a real funny and entertaining movie with the presents of the hilarious Will Sasso and the extremely hot Wendy hamilton. You do have to admit though this movie did have some bright spots and could of been a 7 out of ten but decided to try and profit a little more of the first ski school that was a sleeper hit. So it will have to settle for a 4 from me.
  • This movie is OK for being made in the early 1980's. The same kind of humor as shown in Stripes or Bachelor party. But wait... this was actually made in 1994. So it was dated even when it was new. Oh well, if you like 80's comedies then this might still be okay if you've got a bit of spare time. And a few lovely ladies take their clothes off, that's also reminiscing of the 80's. But au contrary to what some other reviewer said, there is no full frontal scenes. Or perhaps there are different versions of this, mine is 90 minutes. The plot with the good guys and the bad guys is predictable, but that's of course part of the fun. But don't expect too much of this.
