When the Cryptkeeper is walking around, a puppet head was superimposed over the body of a real actor, who was wearing a green mask.
Crypt Keeper:
Cuuut! cutcutcutcut cut. What the hell are you doing? You call that hack-ting?
Slasher:
Well... Yes, as a matter of fact I do call it ACTING.
Crypt Keeper:
Well let me tell you something pal, you're no Gory Cooper, you aren't even a Robert Deadford. Another take like that ...
Chloe the cat is referred to as both a male and female cat. Irene calls it "him", while Jeryline calls Chloe "her".
At the end of the credits, there is a short sequence of The Cryptkeeper asking the audience why they are still there and then inviting them to see the next Tales From the Crypt theatrical release Dead Easy (Which was the working title for the follow up Tales From the Crypt film, Bordello of Blood).
This sequence existed on the VHS and DVD releases of Demon Knight, but was removed on the Laserdisc and Blu-Ray versions of this film.
In Germany the uncut version was shown in cinemas, but the video was withdrawn by the distributor to avoid confiscation by the authorities. A cut version of the movie has been shown on TV.
