Did You Know?

When Woody hides in a milk crate in Sid's room, one of the items inside it is an American military-style manual labeled "TM 31-210: Improvised Interrogation Techniques", a reference to Sid's mock interrogation of Woody with a magnifying glass. There is a real training manual published by the United States Army with a serial number TM 31-210, which details the creation and use of improvised explosives. Though also fitting for Sid's character, it was possibly altered to its current state to prevent viewers from getting any unseemly ideas.

Andy: All right, everyone! This... is a stick-up. Don't anybody move! Now empty that safe!
Andy: Ooh, hoo hoo! Money, money, money!
Andy: Stop it! Stop it, you mean old potato!
Andy: Quiet, Bo Peep! Or your sheep get run over!
Andy: Help! Baaa! Help us!
Andy: Oh no! Not my sheep! ...
Woody: ...

When Buzz is explaining to Woody under the trailer, as soon as he finishes his dialog his face turns to surprise. However, Woody doesn't start yelling at him until one second later. He was startled a full second too early.

Crazy Credits

In the DVD version, when the THX logo appears, it gets burned out like a flashlight. Then a robot (Tex) comes from the right side of the screen, fixes it, and the logo resumes.

Alternate Versions

Some TV broadcasts, specifically those aimed at younger children, omit the shot of Woody's inanimate head rotating 360 degrees.
