During the Second American Civil War in 2017, Barb Wire owns a nightclub called the Hammerhead. Things become complicated when her ex-lover Axel Hood, who is married to the fugitive Corrina Devonshire, re-enters her life.
Mary Anna Reyes was actually naked during the torture scene.
Now, where is Dr. Corrina Devonshire?
Woman in Torture Room: She's going to Steel Harbor, the free city.
Colonel Pryzer: Do you mind telling me why Cora D. is going to Steel Harbor?
Woman in Torture Room: She's meeting members of the Resistance. They're giving her the retinal lenses, helping her out of the ...
Colonel Pryzer: ...
When Barb goes to see Big Fatso with the lenses, she's got three ammo belts over her shoulders. The one over her right shoulder is under the two that are over her left shoulder meaning that she'd have to take off the two that are over her left shoulder before being able to take off the one that's over her right shoulder. Then Willis arrives with the Congressionals and he tells her to drop her weapons. When he tells her this, the ammo belts have switched places. The one that was over her right shoulder which used to be under the other two ammo belts is now over the other two ammo belts. Then in the next shot, as she's dropping her weapons, the ammo belts return to where they originally were.
A scene of an additional longer opening title sequence, which is just a longer video of Barb Wire dancing topless, following in the credits.
Network TV version is heavily edited, where the opening credits are altered during the wet-and-wild sequence, especially where the semi-nude scenes (e.g. partial nipple exposure) are replaced with alternate shots.
