International terrorists get a surprise when their cargo turns out to contain living dinosaurs. The army commando team now have to think fast, if they want to prevent the extinction of the human species, instead of the reptiles.
Cast member Justina Vail said about the production of the film that, "A lot of it made me laugh. It looked like there was a guy in a dinosaur costume running across the room. So it was a challenge to get to the real reality part of it, but ultimately it was a blast."

Col. Rance Higgins: Whats that?
Dr. Hodges: I'm clausterphobic
Col. Rance Higgins: Well, if you pass out on me now, you're dead!
In the opening convoy scene, the troops are not wearing US uniforms. Troops never had desert camo t-shirts and the US helmets were liners without the 'pot'.
The American Dinosaur Association monitored all dinosaur action. Scenes depicting violence to dinosaurs were simulated. No dinosaur was harmed or mistreated during the making of this film.
