    Edit
    • Trivia
Robin Tunney wore an auburn wig throughout filming because she shaved her head for her role in "Empire records - menoa ja musaa (1995)," which wrapped up a month before production started on this film.
    • Goofs
When Bonnie first goes to gene therapy, the scars are all over her back and down her left arm. However, when the four of them are strutting down the school hallway, her short sleeved shirt reveals no scars on her arm. The scars are back down her arm when she goes the second time to the doctor.
    • Quotes

Driver: Girls watch out for the weirdos.

Nancy: We are the weirdos, mister.

    • Alternate versions
The edited-for-television version of the film omits profanities and other potentially offensive dialog. This includes Laura's racist comment that she is torturing Rochelle because "I don't like Negroids"; omitting this dialog also omits the entire reason why the girls cast a spell on Laura that causes her to become disfigured, a major plot point.

    Great Cast
Fairuza Balk versus Robin Tunney is a great conflict between two opposing personalities. Tunney has a detached and somewhat cold personality, while Fairuza Balk is off the charts bipolar, flashes of rage and insanity. They are a great contrast and play off each other very well.

Rachel True and Neve Campbell do an excellent job as manipulative supporting characters. I would have liked to see the witches get training from the Spanish bookstore witch. She was very well learned in witchcraft, and every time I see this movie, it seems like their logical choice should have been to ask her for help and some training. Instead, Fairuza Balk and Neve Campbell were always incredibly rude to her, which never makes sense. I guess if they had been trained into well-adjusted friendly witches it would have been a different movie.
