  • I remember about three years ago on NBC when "Prince Street" had a premiere I said that this show will be a hit I was wrong after a few episodes it was taken off. This show was true to show how that cops in the big cities risk their all on a nightly basis as each member was of the NYPD Intelligence Division who had to live a secret life and fight the dangers every night. I remember in the first episode a scene where Mariska Hargitay was held hostage for a short time with her hands crossed with tape and she also had her mouth taped with a piece of duct tape. Mariska would later go on to star and have success on NBC's "Law & Order: Special Victim's Unit". Really it's sad when the networks pull the plug on a TV-series quickly without giving them a chance I must say though that it wasn't for the lack of realism on "Prince Street" to bad this series didn't stick around.
