        • Trivia
This movie is based on the real life battle of Longewella from the 1971 IndoPak war. However, the Indian casualties during this incident amounted to no more than 2 soldiers and the movie thus exaggerates casualties for dramatic purposes.
        • Goofs
While Suniel Shetty's character is named as Capt. Bhairon Singh, there isn't any rank as Captain in the BSF.

          Major Kuldeep Singh: [laughs madly]

Dharamvir: May I ask you a question, Sir? There must be some difference between madness and patriotism?

Major Kuldeep Singh: Dharamvir, what you call madness comes from faith. And I have full faith that God is with me, not with the enemy.

One of the best movie about soldiers sacrifice for country.
I have lost count how many times I have watched this movie. Its a great family movie. I still remember how our family used to sit to watch this together. It shows how soldiers have to sacrifice their happiness & love to fight for the country. Though some things are shown in excess but still a good movie to enjoy with family.
