Ari Meyers and Mark Krassenbaum are very, very good in this movie, as are Tess Harper, John O'Hurley, and Cindy Pickett. The Killing Secret is about Nicole (Meyers), a high school student who's wealthy boyfriend, Greg (Krassenbaum), has kept his affair with Emily (played by Soleil Moon Frye) hidden. Emily becomes pregnant, much to Greg's dismay.

Nicole sees on the news that Emily (who she knows nothing about) is missing. By chance, Nicole meets Emily's mother (Harper) and she befriends her, as she feels sorry for her and wants to help her find Emily.

I think part of the reason I like this movie so much is because I was in high school when this was released, and the clothes, hairstyles and music in the film remind me of those days. I also spent a good deal of my childhood in North Carolina, so the familiar scenery and the fact that I recognize some local actors makes me feel close to this movie. Sentiments aside, it is a great story and the score is phenomenal. 10/10
