Dramatized portrayal of the Apollo manned space program.
In this series, the "White Room" - the small room attached to the Apollo landing gantry, which the crewmembers pass through on their way into the capsule - is the real thing. It was discovered in a forgotten NASA storage room, taken out and used in filming.

Donn Eisele: Yeah. I wonder where Guenter Wendt.
In the episode "Spider", a red, white and blue cooler appears during a scene taking place in the late 1960s. However, these patriotic coolers were not released until the bicentennial in 1976.
On the 1999 UK VHS version, Episode 7 (That's All There Is) had three uses of strong language cut out by the BBFC in order to avoid getting a 15 rating and to keep the episode in line with the rest of the series at a PG rating. When the series was re-submitted in 2006 for the DVD release, the episode was passed uncut (and with a 15 rating).
