A rather neurotic ant tries to break from his totalitarian society while trying to win the affection of the princess he loves.
The plot of Antz (1998) is an ironic twist. In the movie, Mandible wants to flood the ant colony, wiping out all the ants, so he can start anew. In the James Bond movie A View to a Kill (1985), the antagonist, Max Zorin, wanted to wipe out Silicon Valley by flooding the San Andreas fault by digging under San Andreas Lake. Max Zorin was played by Christopher Walken, who was also in Antz.
This is just a lawsuit waiting to happen.
When Z drops the wrecking ball, it harmlessly bounces and rolls, having no effect on the same types of materials that it smashed right through a moment earlier.
The Z in Antz is slightly crooked, and its also the name of the title character.
The TV spot edited on Cartoon Network Z says "Call me crazy. But, I have a thing about drinking from the caboose of another creature, okay?"
